Reopening of casinos in Quebec: how is it going?

The calendar of casino reopenings in Quebec

All establishments have been allowed to reopen for a short time thanks to Loto Québec, in a very particular order, with specific dates. We wanted to give you exactly the dates on which the establishments were able to reopen their doors to visitors in Quebec.

The reopening dates :

• Casino of Charlevoix : open since August 21, 2021 ;
• Casino of Mont-Tremblant : open since August 21, 2021 ;
• Casino du Lac-Leamy : open since August 23, 2021 ;
• Casino of Montreal : open since August 30, 2021.
• Trois-Rivières Game fair : open since August 14, 2021.

News that gave great pleasure to Quebec players who were able to join their favorite casino rooms!

The measures taken in the casinos

Even though the reopening took place in Quebec, certain measures and restrictions have obviously been taken in order to avoid any risk of contamination or health problems. These measures were supported by Loto Québec and the government.

Here are the measures put in place :

• The reservation is mandatory to be able to go to a room ;
• The capacity of the casinos is limited to 50% ;
• The regulatory distance of 2 meters between each player must be respected ;
• The casinos close at midnight and the sale of alcohol stops at 23h ;
• A customer register must be kept in case of contamination.

These few restrictions do not interfere in any way with the pleasure that visitors take when coming to these Quebec casinos again. As you can see, the reopening is therefore going very well and the restrictions will be more and more flexible over time.
